The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practices

The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practice is committed to supporting the development of culturally safe programs. Creating cultural safe environments requires a change in beliefs, attitudes, quality service improvement, values, and at times change to organizational culture and structure.

The Institute provides organizations with the opportunity to increase their effectiveness and viability when working with Indigenous peoples. In order to adapt to the cultural safe environment, the Institute offers the following organizational development programs:

Management or Board Program Development

The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practices is committed to culturally safe organizational development. The Institute provides the educational seminars to move forward in culturally safe ways, and provides the opportunity to work with management and boards throughout the change management process.

The Institute works to lay the framework for change, and acts as a consultant to organizationí change process through administrative harmonization processes. Bridging both Indigenous perspectives and Governmental mandates to meet the best interests of Indigenous children and families accessing an organizationís program.

Teach / educate

The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practice is committed to supporting the adult learning process in creating cultural safe environments and communities.

Mentor

The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practice is committed to mentoring the culturally safe change management process. Mentoring is used in organizational development and provides opportunities for practitioners to learn about culturally restorative practices. Mentoring provides the practitioners with opportunities to develop specific culturally safe skills to enhance the change management process.

Support the change process

The Institute for Culturally Restorative Practice is committed to supporting the culturally restorative change model within your organizationís development of cultural safe programming. This includes skills development, performance and quality development, and internal /external scans for quality improvement.
